Oil, gas और water pipeline के लिए इस्तेमाल होने वाले line pipes में hydrostatic testing pipe integrity की जांच का एक महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा है। API Spec 5L line pipe के manufacturing, inspection, testing और traceability से संबंधित requirements निर्धारित करता है। 2026 में API ने इसका 47th Edition प्रकाशित किया है।
Wuxi Marley Machinery में हम steel pipe hydro tester को pipe specification और required hydrostatic test conditions के अनुसार configure करते हैं, ताकि welded और seamless line pipes के लिए pressure testing stable और repeatable रहे।
API Spec 5L के लिए Hydro Testing में क्या महत्वपूर्ण है?
API 5L के अनुसार hydrostatic testing का उद्देश्य pipe body और applicable welded areas की pressure integrity को verify करना है। हमारे लिए equipment design में तीन बातें सबसे महत्वपूर्ण हैं:
Stable Test Pressure
Hydraulic system को required test pressure तक controlled तरीके से पहुंचना और testing period के दौरान pressure को stable रखना चाहिए।
Reliable Pipe-End Sealing
High-pressure testing में end sealing सीधे test reliability को प्रभावित करती है। हम pipe diameter, wall thickness और test pressure के अनुसार sealing configuration select करते हैं।
Test Pressure Recording
API 5L requirements में hydrostatic testing के दौरान pressure और test duration की traceability महत्वपूर्ण है। इसलिए hydro tester में pressure recording और automatic control functions को production requirements के अनुसार integrate किया जा सकता है।
API 5L Line Pipe के लिए Hydro Test कैसे किया जाता है?
हमारे steel pipe hydro tester में सामान्य testing cycle इस प्रकार होती है:
- Pipe को testing heads के बीच position किया जाता है।
- दोनों pipe ends को hydraulic sealing system से seal किया जाता है।
- Pipe को पूरी तरह पानी से भरा जाता है और trapped air को हटाया जाता है।
- Hydraulic system internal pressure को required test pressure तक बढ़ाता है।
- निर्धारित testing period के दौरान pressure को maintain और monitor किया जाता है।
- Pressure stability और pipe में किसी leakage या abnormal condition की जांच की जाती है।
- Test pressure और duration को आवश्यकता के अनुसार record किया जाता है।
API Spec 5L में test pressure का निर्धारण pipe की applicable specification और parameters के आधार पर किया जाता है। इसलिए हम machine configuration को केवल maximum pressure के आधार पर नहीं चुनते, बल्कि pipe OD, wall thickness, grade और production requirements को भी ध्यान में रखते हैं।
Welded Line Pipes के लिए Marley Hydro Tester
भारत में large-diameter welded line pipes के production में LSAW, SSAW और अन्य welded pipes के लिए stable hydro testing विशेष रूप से महत्वपूर्ण है।
हम pipe dimensions और testing requirements के आधार पर hydraulic system, testing heads, sealing arrangement और control system को configure करते हैं। इसका उद्देश्य केवल high pressure generate करना नहीं है, बल्कि प्रत्येक pipe के लिए consistent pressure testing और reliable test records प्राप्त करना है।
हमारे अनुभव में, बड़े diameter pipes के लिए sealing stability और pressure control अक्सर testing system के सबसे महत्वपूर्ण engineering points होते हैं।
API 5L-Oriented Hydro Testing Equipment
हमारा steel pipe hydro tester API Spec 5L के अनुरूप pipe testing requirements को support करने के लिए customer की वास्तविक production conditions के अनुसार configured किया जाता है।
हम pipe diameter, length, wall thickness, steel grade, required test pressure और production capacity को पहले confirm करते हैं और फिर hydraulic pressure system, sealing method, testing stations और automation level निर्धारित करते हैं।
इस approach से hydro testing equipment को actual line-pipe production के साथ बेहतर तरीके से integrate किया जा सकता है और testing results को अधिक consistent बनाया जा सकता है।
API Spec 5L स्वयं line-pipe requirements का standard है; इसलिए किसी hydro tester को “API certified” कहने के बजाय यह स्पष्ट करना अधिक सही है कि equipment को API Spec 5L hydrostatic testing requirements को support करने के लिए configured किया गया है।
